Mission
The mission of the college is:
To equip the students with knowledge and skills and inculcate in them qualities of competence, confidence and excellence, particularly those who belong to the rural, weak and disadvantaged class of society.
To provide quality education to its students and empower them to meet the challenges of the highly competitive world.
To focus on all-round development of the personality of the students and work to develop in them a sense of responsibility, team-spirit, leadership skills and sound communication skills.
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. It provides opportunity to the student youth of colleges and University level of India to take part in various government led community service activities & programmes. The sole aim of the NSS is to provide hands on experience to young students in delivering community service.
The NSS unit in this college was established in 1988. Since then, many competitions and Extension activities are organized by the students at the college under the banner of NSS. Apart from this, every year, under the leadership of NSS officer and College Staff, the NSS volunteers are made aware on various social, economic, environmental issues by selecting one village from the surrounding rural area for 7 days NSS camp.
The Amoda situated near Aron has been adopted by NSS unit on the concept of Adaption of Village. Under which the NSS volunteers of the college work to make the villagers aware at many levels like Banking Literacy, Technology in Agriculture, Traffic awareness, Voter Awareness etc. In the difficult times of Corona period, the work of distributing sanitizers, masks, and hand wash etc. materials to the villagers from door to door was done by the NSS volunteers of our college.
The calendar issued by the Higher Education Department is fully followed by the NSS unit in the college. The result of this unit working actively throughout the year was that the campus of Govt. Graduate College Aron has been completely converted into a green campus.
Under the scheme, college students are encouraged to participate in various social and extension activities. The NSS has successfully organized blood donation camps, health camps, voter awareness programmes etc. both within the college and the surrounding locality. The University has provided assistance to provide such services. Interested students are requested to contact Mr. Hindu Singh Dhakad , Programme Officer, NSS Unit.

स्वामी विवेकानंद कॅरियर मार्गदर्शन योजना
स्वामी विवेकानंद, 19 वीं सदी के भारतीय रहस्यवादी संत स्वामी रामकृष्ण परमहंस के प्रमुख शिष्य थे । स्वामी विवेकानंद ने 1893 में शिकागो में आयोजित ‘विश्व धर्म संसद’ में अपने विश्व प्रसिद्ध व्याख्यान का शुभारम्भ ‘ अमेरिका की बहनों और भाइयों’ बोलते हुए किया तो सभा में मौजूद विद्वानों और दर्शकों ने देर तक करतल ध्वनि कर उनके प्रति असीम आदर व्यक्त किया | स्वामी जी ने अपने ज्ञान से परिपूर्ण संभाषण और प्रभाकारी वक्तृत्व कला से सभा में उपस्थित जनों पर ऐसा प्रभाव डाला कि आयोजन अवधि में प्रतिदिन उनके संभाषण की मांग की जाती और आयोजकों को प्रतिदिन ही स्वामी जी का उदबोधन कराना पड़ता था | विश्व धर्म संसद में उन्होंने विश्व और विशेष रूप से पाश्चत्य जगत को सनातन धर्म, वेदांत , योग और भारतीय दर्शन के महत्व से परिचित कराया और भारत के प्रति लोगों में जिज्ञासा उत्पन्न की | स्वामी जी की विद्वता और प्रभाशाली व्यक्तित्व से प्रभवित होकर कई विदेशियों ने उन्हें गुरु के रूप में स्वीकार कर शिष्यत्व ग्रहण कर भारतीय संस्कृति और जीवन दर्शन को अपनाया | औपनिवेशिक शासन में भारत वासियों में आत्मगौरव और राष्ट्र भक्ति का भाव उद्भूत करने का कार्य स्वामी विवेकानंद के विचारों ने किया ।
विवेकानंद जी ने ‘रामकृष्ण मठ’ और ‘रामकृष्ण मिशन’ की स्थापना की । स्वामीजी के न केवल विचार ही आशा और उत्साह का संचार करते हैं बल्कि उनका देवत्व की आभा से युक्त मुख मंडल भी ओज, साहस और निर्भीकता के भावों का संचार करता है | ‘ उतिष्ठ जाग्रत’ अर्थात ‘उठो जागो’ का सन्देश उन्होंने दिया | वे कहते थे की यदि उन्हें मानसिक और शारीरिक रूप से दृढ़ मात्र 10 समर्पित युवा मिल जाएँ तो भारत का काया-पलट कर देंगे | स्वामी जी युवा तरुनाई के प्रतीक माने जाते हैं | उनकी स्मृति को बनाये रखने और उनके योगदान के प्रति अनुग्रह व्यक्त करते हुए भारत सरकार ने शिक्षण संस्थाओं में’ सेवा के माध्यम से व्यक्तित्व विकास’ का उद्देश्य लेकर संचालित हो रही ‘राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना’ के प्रतीक पुरुष स्वामी विवेकानंद को लिया है | म.प्र. शासन ने भी युवा विद्यार्थियों को करियर मार्गदर्शन देने, उनके व्यक्तित्व और कौशल का विकास करने के लिए ‘ स्वामी विवेकानंद करियर मार्गदर्शन योजना’ संचालित की है |
उच्च शिक्षा विभाग, भोपाल के निर्देशानुसार इस महाविद्यालय में वर्षभर स्वामी विवेकानंद करियर मार्गदर्शन योजना अंतर्गत विभिन्न गतिविधियां संचालित होती हैं। इस महाविद्यालय में स्वामी विवेकानंद करियर मार्गदर्शन प्रकोष्ठ गठित है जिसकी प्रभारी श्रीमती देवहुति खंडाईत हैं।
